Our tattoos are created with intention and energy–whether it be an original flash piece or a custom design, every single tattoo is made with precious care and sentiment. Tattooing is the foundational basis for each of our sessions; by exploring a portal that can only be made through a physical body modification, we strive to open that space to explore happiness, healing, and light.

With a canvas that comes in the most variety of forms, we aspire to honor each client by ensuring our designs can compliment and harmonize with their specific bodily curvature. We understand that trusting your anatomy to another is an incredibly intimate process and strive to create the most comfortable and safe space for you above all else.

Starting from the fifteenth century until now, Tarot and the magic of card divination has been used throughout history to connect to self, reveal answers, and provide guidance. The art of Tarot and its tandem with tattooing has been something we have been slowly exploring over the past several years. Through drawing tarot cards, we are able to gain insight into your particular situation, potential remedies, and what imagery and placement should be incorporated into your tattoo.

Using tarot as an introductory practice for your tattoo is encouraged if you are: looking to get a piece but unsure of what design, needing further guidance in a particular emotional/physical situation, or are simply looking to weave a bit more magic into your life.

Often described as Universal Life Energy, Reiki is within each of us all.

Working on an energetic level, Reiki helps us to restore balance and harmony throughout our internal body and out. Reiki treatments are a gentle process that can be added onto the end your tattoo session, for thirty to sixty minutes. Supporting all physical, mental, emotional, and situational healing, Reiki is a sweet remedy to help us return to self in the most sacred way possible.

Vannessa is currently a Level 2 Reiki practitioner within the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. Reiki is incorporated into our tattoo sessions as an add-on and is also offered as a stand-alone service. More information on Reiki can be found in our FAQ.

Throughout the busy-ness of life, we must take moments of rest to develop peace and awareness.

Awareness in our tattoo appointments is a conscious effort to set down our phones, be with our bodies, and have mindfulness of the breath. Clients are encouraged through tattoo artist accountability to spend their tattoo session in mindful breathing and gentle conversation--rather than endlessly scroll through social media or answer emails and calls, Awareness allows us to truly take our tattoo sessions as an invitation of quiet, peace, and rest.

Awareness is offered as an add-on to tattoo appointments only. This practice can also be modified and adapted any time during the tattoo session based on the client's consent, pain level, and comfortability.
